SALT SEA, 1 TEA
BUTTER, 3 TBL
SHARP CHEDDAR CHEESE, 1 1/2 CUPS
BLACK PEPPER, 1/2 TEA
ALL PURPOSE FLOUR, 3 TBL
MILK, 3 CUPS
DRY BREAD CRUMBS, TOPPING
CHEESE, TOPPING
STEPS:
SET OVEN TO 400, AND COOK MACARONI FOR 10 MINUTES
SAUCE, MELT BUTTER & STIR IN FLOUR FOR A FEW MINUTES
MIX 1/4 CUP OF MILK AT A TIME - CONSTANT STIRRING
WHEN SMOOTH - TAKE OFF HEAT
ADD CHEESE, MUSTARD, SALT AND PEPPER
STIR SAUCE AND MACARONI INTO A LIGHTLY GREASED
SHALLOW OVEN PROOF DISH
TOP WITH BREAD CRUMBS AND EXTRA CHEESE
BAKE FOR 40 MINUTES
TIME TO PREPARE: 70 MINUTES (SERVES 8)
