HUMMUS

INGREDIENTS: (Vegan)

GARLIC, 2 MEDIUM CLOVES
CHICK PEAS, 2 15-OZ CANS
TAHINI, 1/4 CUP
PAPRIKA, 1 TEA
LEMON JUICE, 1/4 CUP
SALT, 1/2 TEA
OLIVE OIL, 1 TBL
OLIVES, 1/4 cup (optional on top)
WATER, 1/2 CUP

STEPS:

  • DRAIN AND RINSE CHICK PEAS, MINCE GARLIC
  • IN A BLENDER PUREE ALL INGREDIENTS UNTIL SMOOTH
  • TRANSFER FROM BLENDER TO MEDIUM BOWL

    TIME TO PREPARE: 20 MINUTES (SERVES 6)
    ** SUGGESTED WINE: PINOT GRIS/GRIGIO
