INGREDIENTS:
POTATOES, 2 POUNDS
SALT (or salt substitute), 1/2 TEA
LIGHT CREAM, 1 CUP
BLUE CHEESE CRUMBLES, 6 OUNCES
BUTTER, 2 TBL
BLACK PEPPER, 1/2 TEA
STEPS:
PREHEAT OVEN 350 & GREASE BAKING DISH
PEEL AND THINLY SLICE POTATOES
ARRANGE IN DISH 1/3 OF POTATOES SLIGHTLY OVERLAP
SPRINKLE WITH SALT AND PEPPER & 1/2 OF THE CHEESE
REPEAT STEPS 3 AND 4
ARRANGE REMAINING POTATOES ON THE TOP
POUR CREAM OVER AND SPRINKLE SALT AND PEPPER
DOT TOP WITH BUTTER
BAKE UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN - ABOUT 1 HOUR
LET STAND 10 MINUTES
TIME TO PREPARE: 90 MINUTES (SERVES 6)
